After much deliberation, the finalists of the Crystal Palace and Jelly schools ad board competition have been chosen!
With 84 entries in total it was a very difficult and challenging task to select the finalists, who each receive a pair of Crystal Palace season tickets (one adult and one child), with the winning entry having their board produced and displayed for a live match throughout the coming season.
The main idea behind this campaign was to attract young football supporters to watching live Championship football. By promoting this campaign, it would also raise the profile of Crystal Palace FC and also Platinum sponsors Jelly Communications.
This initiative is being driven by Jelly MD Gareth Limpenny who is a lifelong Eagles supporter. He well remembers the pleasure he got as a child of going to Selhurst Park to see the games and his children also now enjoy the experience too. He wants to offer this opportunity to other children and this ad board competition is a good way of getting South London youngsters involved.
The finalists were all selected as their designs combined imagination, effort and an understanding of the service Jelly provides. The designs all used colour well and would translate to a ground advertising board.
Congratulations to all of them. These are their designs:
Research just released by OFCOM indicates that UK mobile users are now texting more than they are using calls to keep in touch. According to the research, the average UK consumer sent 50 text messages per week, more than double the amount in 2007. Whilst this research focuses on consumers, texting for business is becoming more popular too.
A recent survey shows that almost seven out of ten UK businesses intend to start using VOIP telephony within the next 12 months. So what's behind this drive for change?
