The BlackBerry Torch 9800 runs BlackBerry OS 6. Activating BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) is slightly different than previous operating systems. Below are a few easy steps to set up BES


1. On the main screen select 'All Applications' to see the full screen than scroll and select 'Options'

2. Within the options screen scroll down and select 'Device'

3.  Within the device screen scroll down and select 'Advanced System Settings'

4. Now select 'Enterprise Activation' at the top of the screen
     (If the option is not available, please check with your supplier that you have BES on your account)

5. Enter the details as supplied by your IT Administrator as shown below and select 'Activate'

Provided that all the informaiton is correct and you have a strong signal the device will go through activation. The device will notify you when the process is complete.
